Description

The FLD-Specialized Primer for Galvanized Surfaces is a high-performance, two-component epoxy primer specifically formulated to achieve exceptional adhesion to galvanized steel, zinc-coated surfaces, and other non-ferrous metals. Unlike conventional primers that often suffer from adhesion failure or saponification on zinc-rich substrates, this specialized formulation uses reactive chemistry to chemically bond with the zinc surface, ensuring a durable and long-lasting interface. The primer effectively seals the porous zinc coating, prevents underfilm corrosion, and provides an excellent base for subsequent topcoats, including epoxy, polyurethane, fluorocarbon, and alkyd finishes.
