Description

The FLD-Epoxy-Phenolic Topcoat is a two-component, high-performance topcoat formulated with an epoxy-phenolic hybrid resin system. This finish coat provides exceptional resistance to elevated temperatures (typically up to 150–200°C / 300–400°F, dry heat), strong acids, solvents, and aggressive chemical environments. It cures to a hard, dense, cross-linked film with excellent low permeability and outstanding resistance to cathodic disbondment. As the final layer in multi-coat systems, this topcoat provides a durable, chemically inert barrier that protects underlying substrates from severe thermal and chemical attack.
