Description
The FLD-Epoxy-Phenolic Intermediate Coat is a two-component, high-build intermediate coating formulated with a hybrid epoxy-phenolic resin system. This coat is designed to increase total dry film thickness in multi-coat systems while maintaining excellent resistance to elevated temperatures (typically up to 150–200°C / 300–400°F, dry heat), strong acids, solvents, and aggressive chemicals. The intermediate layer enhances barrier protection, reduces permeability, and improves overall system durability without sacrificing flexibility or intercoat adhesion. It is an essential component in high-performance lining systems for severe chemical and thermal service.
