Description
The FLD-Epoxy Glass Flake Mortar is a two-component, high-build epoxy coating reinforced with glass flake fillers. The glass flakes align in a parallel, overlapping “leafing” pattern within the cured film, creating an extremely tortuous path that significantly extends the diffusion distance of moisture, oxygen, and corrosive ions. This unique structure provides exceptional barrier protection against chemical attack, water permeation, and cathodic disbondment. The mortar formulation also offers excellent resistance to impact, abrasion, and thermal cycling. Ideal for immersion service and high-corrosion environments.
