Product Name
FLD-Polyaniline Anti-corrosive Topcoat
Alias
PANI Anti-Corrosion Finish, Conductive Polymer Topcoat, Nano-Polyaniline Epoxy Topcoat, Active Corrosion Inhibitor Topcoat
Description
The FLD-Polyaniline Anti-corrosive Topcoat is a two-component, high-performance epoxy topcoat incorporating polyaniline (PANI) as the active anti-corrosion additive. This finish coat provides both outstanding barrier protection and continuous electrochemical passivation. Polyaniline maintains a stable, protective oxide layer on the metal surface, actively inhibiting corrosion even when the coating is scratched or damaged. The topcoat also offers excellent resistance to UV radiation, chemicals, moisture, and abrasion, making it suitable for demanding outdoor and industrial environments. It is environmentally friendly, containing no heavy metals such as lead, chromium, or high levels of zinc.
Key benefits:
-
Polyaniline provides active electrochemical passivation and self-healing effects.
-
Excellent resistance to salt spray, moisture, acids, alkalis, and industrial chemicals.
-
Good UV stability – suitable for exterior exposure without significant chalking.
-
Hard, abrasion-resistant finish with outstanding impact resistance.
-
Environmentally friendly—free from heavy metals (lead, chromium, mercury).
Typical applications: Offshore platforms, marine vessels (topsides), steel bridges, chemical plant structures, storage tank exteriors, pipelines, wind turbine towers, port equipment, and any carbon steel structure requiring long-term, heavy-duty corrosion protect
